The vacancy
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join Leeds Palliative Care Network as our Administrator.
Leeds Palliative Care Network (LPCN) is a group of health and social care providers in Leeds, who are working together to improve services for adults approaching the end of their life. https://leedspalliativecare.org.uk/
St Gemma’s Hospice hosts LPCN and will be your employer.
The post supports partners from health and care organisations across the city with the day-to-day activities of the LPCN, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed to a high standard in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will be confident using his or her own initiative and planning and managing work effectively. The post also requires a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. You will need a keen eye for detail, have a pro-active approach and be comfortable dealing with different organisation styles as part of a virtual team.
It is vital that you are confident and competent using a range of systems, particularly arranging and hosting virtual meetings and taking accurate notes. This key role offers significant personal development and growth.
The position is part-time 22.5 hours per week, with flexible start and end times each day. We also support flexibility of location in the team to ensure a work-life balance; there is an LPCN office on site at St Gemma’s and the option to work from home.
St Gemma’s has core values which run through everything we do – Caring, Aspiring, Professional – and we welcome people who share these values.
Interviews will be in early August 2023.
