The vacancy
This is a new post at St Gemma’s, working across the clinical services to support and drive high quality patient and family care. We need a skilled and motivated individual with an understanding of and experience in monitoring quality and working with teams to generate a culture of continuous improvement.
The Quality & Governance Practitioner will:
This is a crucial post for the Hospice, pulling together the broad quality and governance agenda, in collaboration with the Heads of Departments and the Executive team. It is an exciting time to join St Gemma’s as we work with other healthcare partners to introduce the National Patient Safety Strategy.
We are looking for someone with experience of working in healthcare and in quality/governance, who is motivated by improving quality and safety for patients and families. We are a welcoming, ambitious team, keen to learn and to improve.
The position is part time 22.5 hours and we support a hybrid approach and flexibility in working hours in the team to ensure you can balance your work and your life. There is no fixed start or end time each day.
