Get out and about and volunteer as a Retail Van Driver Assistant! This is a great role for anyone who likes to meet people as you will be traveling across Leeds to our community of charity shops.  

You will meet our Driver at the retail hub in Bramley or our Hospice in Moortown.

The role will involve assisting our Drivers to collect and deliver donated items to and from our 26 charity shops and customer homes.  

No driving is required, you will simply be going out with our Drivers to help them.  A good level of physical fitness is required.

The role is available on a Thursday or Friday from 8.30am to 4pm.

St Gemma’s Hospice is a Leeds-based charity providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients and their carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and via our day services, which include a Day Hospice and Out-Patient Department.
